What is the idea?
The story is as old as life on earth. Everyone wants to win, wants to be the best. Irrelevant how small the difference is, at the end there is only one. The winner.

Who hasn’t dreamt of being in a exceptional position – being the leader, the big boss, the victor? And hasn’t the idea or Marketing not the same or at least a very similar intention? Being the best, the dominating brand, the market leader, the KING?

This site combines our playfully nature with the natural tough marketing rules. According to the principle "the best shall win" the coronation takes place by competition and crowding out like in real life. And of course money plays not a lightwight role as well. So as mentioned before “like in real life…” But everybody inside Marketing knows that competition is not only tough, it is also big part of the fun and can be extremely helpful for growing the business.

What is the benefit?
We offer you an everlasting and unique media platform for your advertising, which can have a great impact for your business with very little input needed. Here are the facts:

• During your regency as KING only your banner is shown on the frontpage.
• Thereafter you will be appointed as a KNIGHT of the “Round Table” during the regency of the following twelve KINGS. During that period you are also listed with you eleven fellow KNIGHTS’s on a separate and accentuated “Round Table” site.
• Even if you have to leave the “Round Table” you are not disappearing namelessly. Instead you will be listed on a global KNIGHT’s list where all your facts and your banner will be shown forever and of course over the entire term your website will be linked with your banner to make it easy for visitors to find your. - Due to the link to your homepage, your ranking for search engines e.g. Google, could increase quite dramatically
• In addition and to make the position as a KING or KNIGHT even more public to the outer world you will get a special medal “King of Marketing - acting” during your regency and if you become a KNIGHT a medal “King of Marketing – resigned” which you can position on your website.

How do I become king?
As we mentioned before: money is the integral part for becoming “THE KING”, because you have to pay for your knights, to maintain your castle, hold court and maintain your relationships to bring influence to bear. Quite often even to wage a war was needed to become a KING. Altogether these are no issues you could manage without money. In our case we shortened the process a bit: This means you don’t have to fight a battle, to travel abroad or being bothered by diplomatic meetings. You only need to take your credit card and pay the fee of JUST ONE EURO more then the acting KING has payed previously.

Which advertising media can I use?
We only accept fullsize-banner (468 x 60) because it is a very common size which is usually at hand and wouldn’t need a special build. But be aware that it is important to ensure that you choose a pleasing banner, because this banner will be your figurehead for ever or at least a serious number of years. There is no right to claim for a replacement of the banner but we might do it on request in particular important situations e.g. renaming of the company or similar things.

Which information will be published?
The following information will be shown to the visitors:

• The time of the regency (from - until)
• The RanKING – means the number you’ve got in the dynasty of all KINGS
• The number of audiences (visitors) during the rengency
• The number of total visitors at the court
• Your chosen name as THE KING

What happens when I lose the crown?
Like in real life a KING might have to resign sooner or later so it might happen here as well. In case it happens we differ now first time from real life, because our KING gets neither murdered nor need to leave the country. We promise !!! He just will become a KNIGHT of the “Round Table” during the regency of the following twelve KINGS and afterwards will stay on as a KNIGHT forever unless he might decide to go for a second, third,… regency.

How long will this site be online?
The intention is to carry on forever with this it, but we guarantee at least five more year after the last KING has come to the throne. So it depends on YOU with the exception that we would have any imperative or legal causes which would force us to do different, but we cannot think of any yet.
